Day 120- Sleepy Saturday

Jackson was only awake for about 5 hours today. He has a cold and is still recovering from last weekend. While he was awake he was pretty miserable. So these two pictures pretty much sum up today.

Day 118- Tired Boy

Winding down a very long week. A tornado hit last night not very far from my house. I'm still shocked- the storm didn't even seem that terrible, but driving to work today I saw nothing but damage. I did stay up until 1:00 watching all the watches and warnings, getting ready to take the dogs and the baby to the basement- fortunately it never came to it. I'm praying for all of those who were hurt by all of these viscous storms.

Tonight was my last night with my tutoring kids. 3 days next week of westest prep and I am done with tutoring! I do enjoy it, but with Jackson's bedtime routine and dinner starting around 6:30 it makes for some very long days. Tonight we went out to dinner with some friends and he came home and did bath and went right to bed. So it's slim pickings on the pictures today. Tomorrow starts the weekend and I'm ready for some sleep and to get my work finished up and organized for the week.

Day 117- All caught up

Finally all caught up :) But it's late so this is another one of just pictures. But I do want to mention two big things for Jackson today. 1- he finally (though accidentally) rolled from back to belly - and very quickly back again! he was mad in his crib this morning and tried to grab his seahorse and ended up on his belly- i'm so happy he finally hit this milestone
the second is he played peek-a-boo with me- he took his monkey and would cover his face and then pull it away and laugh. It's so cool to watch him grow up!

Jackson loves his new blanket from Liam's Lovies--- it crinkles!! http://www.facebook.com/pages/Liams-Lovies/209139152437548
A new favorite game, put the block in the lid and smash it around until it pops out- yay for noise
searching for more toys to play with, but not letting go of his lovie
Sporting his earth day click a doo diaper :)

Day 116- Back to normal

Day 115- Still no internet

I ended up having to stay home from work b/c my fever didn't break until 1:00. Jackson was still a little on the sickly side as well, so we had a nice relaxing day at home together. I did have some major work that needed to be done though, so after Jackson went to sleep I headed to the public library to use the internet and get some IEPs written. I didn't realize how much of my life is connected online, but man- not having it has made it tough!
Enjoying his swing from Mamaw and Sabba
Play time
Jackson's cheese face
He loves "standing"

Day 114- Sickly Sunday :(

Not so happy Easter in this house. Jackson and I both had the stomach flu- and no internet! The storm knocked our phone line down into the street and a truck snapped it in half :( We had to wait until Tuesday for it to be fixed, so I'm back blogging now.
Here is a picture Russell took of my sick baby while I was suffering on the couch.

I am also putting up a couple pictures of Jackson's Easter basket. Russell worked really hard on it and I think it turned out great. Jackson was so excited for all of his presents, but his favorites were the Haba ball (which I got for free lol), yogurt puffs, and his $1 elmo book, cheap date!

Day 113- surviving saturday

I'm thinking Jackson has another ear infection as well as getting another tooth. Poor guy is having one rough day. He's getting up screaming and crying about every 20 minutes and just wants a hug and a kiss to go back to sleep. I have a feeling it's going to be another long night, so it's going to be a very short post tonight. Here's hoping for a better Easter!

Day 112- Teething monster is back

Well Jackson is following his pattern of teething on the holidays. He's cut teeth Thanksgiving, Christmas, and St. Patrick's day. He's working on another one right now. Today was also the last full day with my Mom and George. So it's another quick one. Here are my 2 favorite pics from today.

Day 111- Digger Dog is Back :(

Jackson is still having trouble with his breathing, so our nebulizer, "Digger Dog" is back in action. Jackson has 2 more days of steroids, breathing treatments every 4-6 hours, and back for a follow up on Monday. If he gets one more wheezing episode, they are going to diagnose him with asthma. As you can see in the picture hanging out with digger does phase Jackson much though. He seems to be feeling much better. I'm going to go so I can visit with family some more, it's great having them here.

Day 110- Bed head

We had a little break in the weather today, so Jackson and I had some outside time. I got a picture that shows Jackson's top teeth too, which is very hard to do. He hides them from us and won't ever let us check out to see how many teeth he has unless he bites us.

My mom and George are visiting, so it'll be short today.

Serious case of bed head
Still mad because Bernie won't play with him
Playing the "drums" while I unload the dishwasher
Playing hard
Laughing at the wind
Started getting really windy, so I had to go get his jacket

Two big top teeth!
Playing with my phone
Picnic snack
