Day 90-end of month= busy me :(

This picture is from this morning. Jackson was playing in his room while I got a shower. Right after I finished getting dressed I went to get the camera to take a picture of how good he was. I heard a crash and there was Jackson like this. It was so funny, but he didn't think so. He'll laugh later on :)

I don't have a lot of time to post because when we have the end of the nine weeks with the end of the month I have a ton of paperwork: grades, IEP progress reports, medicaid, finish SAT paperwork and starting new IEP paperwork. So while I'm watching Grey's tonight, wishing they weren't singing b/c I feel like it's a really good storyline tonight but the singing is not cool, I'm trying to finish all of my paperwork due tomorrow.
Here are the pictures from the infamous photoshoot:

Day 89- 18 days until spring break :)

I do love my job, but this time of year it gets rough. I have tutoring still, which makes for some very long days. I'm really looking forward to the break to recharge! I think the kids are worn out, sickness is abundant, and the weather is keeping us locked inside. I'm trying to come up with fun activities to keep the kids entertained so I hope we can make it to break in good spirits.

Jackson seems to be doing much better. From what I can tell the top tooth that's been bugging him has broken all the way through. The congestion is dying down, his pinkeye seems better and his finger is healing nicely. He slept really well last night and was sound asleep within 15 minutes of getting up to eat around 2. This is a welcome change from the party all night attitude he had from the four days prior.

We went out to eat today so we didn't have much time to play tonight. The picture from tonight is of Bernie hanging out with Jackson right after we got home.

Day 88- Play Time

Jackson has started separation anxiety. When does it peak? Oh, just 2 am after I put him back down from feeding him. He doesn't like for me to leave the room. I will calm him enough to where he just is talking, not crying and then leave him. He then talks for over an hour. He's been doing this 2-3 times a night. He isn't napping well for Ms. Brenda either, but nonetheless- we still get a smiling kid!

Today was the last day of technology committee! That means no more meetings, however we pick up Tuesday tutoring next week. These long days are rough, thankfully, I'm down to only tutoring- which I get paid for. I also get Monday's with Jackson now- so that's a good thing. This has been a really long week already- 19 days until spring break!

Day 87- Big Boy

Here's Jackson playing by himself while I went to do diapers today. He was in the middle of getting dressed on the floor when he started playing and I didn't want to interrupt him so I left him in his good mood to get the work done. The other picture is of his crazy hair b/c he was sitting on the couch shortly after his bath---it's going to be hard to tame in the morning!
But it's late so I'm headed to bed.

Day 86- Hooked on Fishing

Today Jackson was really cranky, except when we went to Hooked on Fishing not on Drugs day at the high school. He had a good time there and even won a fishing pole. He enjoyed watching the fish, petting a sheep, and watching the snakes.
I have to go into school to get everything ready for an IEP in the morning and a substitute. I have court all day tomorrow, but I'm hoping it's over around 1:00 so Jackson and I can hang out together in the afternoon.
So since it's 8:45- the IEP program isn't working and I've gotta get to school, tonight's is a short post.

Happy baby in the morning
Me and Jackson checking out the fish- it was cold!
His bite right after we cleaned it out today :(

The closest thing we got to a smile with his new fishing pole
Don't mess with his pole

Day 85- Big Boy Bath Tub

Well, basketball is over for this year. The kids did great. They won the first game and everyone got a lot of playing time. They lost the second game by one point, but it was a great game from start to finish.
Jackson got some time with Dad today while I coached. I put one of the pictures Russell took from breakfast up.
We had a lot of play time, he's doing much better and the finger is healing well. We practiced some tummy time- which made Jackson mad. He can sit up from laying down now as long as he has something to hold on to (but Ms. Brenda said he did it without any help Friday!). He's also getting much better at using my hands to pull himself up to standing. He did a lot of work and I think we are finally getting back to an 8:00 bedtime.
As the title of today's post indicates, Jackson moved to the big boy bath tub. He was a little nervous at first, and still wasn't 100% sure by the end. He's afraid of losing his balance I think. I did turn him sideways so he could see me and not feel so lost in the big tub. He warmed up to read his water book and play with his whale from Uncle Ryan. He was able to give a smile for his bath song and patty cake and even splashed me once.

Finally, I have a picture of him in his good mama good.night snapless diaper. It's sooooooooo soft. I'll have to use it a few times before I review it, but I love how soft it is, that it's a lay in soaker and doubler so I can put all the absorbency I need up in front. The picture after that is the Sbish soaker over it- should be an awesome night time combination. He has to wear 12 month PJs over this diaper though, because it's pretty tight in his 6-9month PJs. Some of the other diapers, like piddle poddles still leave plenty of room though.
