Day 202- Busy Busy

I didn't get much sleep last night and I've got another busy day tomorrow so today's is very short. We had on again off again teething issues, a little clinging, but mainly a decently happy baby. We enjoyed a nice dinner out and then came home, played, and off to bed. Tomorrow we have a play date with Amy, Kipton, Delia, Melanie, Jacob, and Susan!
Up early playing again
Happily rolling around
Playing dead
Playing by Bernie
I was calling Joe, Bernie was by me and Jackson was confused
Loving on Joe Dog
Sharing his toys with Joe
All wet from playing in the hose
Ready for bed (mad b/c I told him it was time to clean up, not throw his books all over the room)

Day 201- Muscle man

Jackson gets to wear his "muscle shirts" b/c it's so hot this week. It was a late bedtime tonight because he went down for a nap at 4:30 and didn't get up until 6:45. We did get to enjoy a nice walk at 8:30, then a quick bath and bedtime. He went to bed smiling, which was much nicer than get got up this morning. His teething is out of control and he was a miserable little man. He is quite proud of himself though, because he has learned the annoying habit of sucking in his drool. He loves to do it and laugh. At least his laugh helps to take away from that annoying sound! One more long day tomorrow and then a quick, fun day followed by a vacation!
Good morning dear- he followed me around the house screaming as I got ready. I picked him up and played with him as much as I could, but I still had to get ready.
Drool and an unhappy baby :(
We got his onesie today- I can't believe it's almost his birthday!
Throwing things on the floor- one of his favorite new things
Standing up and playing like a big boy!
Blowing bubbles
Look at my muscles mama
Goofy kid
Playing on his laptop

Day 200- work day

Today we had a meeting for school after summer school. Since Brenda was keeping Jackson extra the rest of the week, I brought him with me. As usual, he was a ham. He loved crawling, chasing, playing with other kids, and demanding attention from all the adults. Aside from him trying to pull a teacher's computer cord and licking the cafeteria floor- he was on his best behavior. He came home took a good, long nap, played for an hour, ate, bath, and bed so there aren't many pics.
Practicing his attitude
Drool factory
He's standing all the time now

Day 199- Last Monday before vacation!

It's starting to get hot and sticky around here so Jackson and I spent a lot of time moving between inside and outside, drinking lots of water, and using all the fans to keep ourselves cool today. He's back on his usual schedule, which is sure to get all screwed up this week as I have to work late every day and then Jackson and I have a date with my friends on Friday.
Showing off his favorite camo diaper
So proud of his standing up ability
All done with his nap
Trying to climb out of his crib- can't get any more WV than this: no shoes, WVU diaper, hunting t-shirt
Playing with the seahorse
Stressed b/c he can't turn the page
2 seconds later he figured it out!
Getting ready to attack the ball
Trying to decide if this grass (which he licked twice) tastes good
When he runs out of hands, his mouth will do
Really concentrating on filling his bucket
Splashed water in his face
he loves to chew on this star

Day 198- Standing tall

I'm starting to get another headache (this pregnancy is way tougher than the last!) so this one is going to be short and sweet. Jackson loves standing up and wants to do it all day. Pretty soon he'll start to gain the confidence and there will be no stopping that kid :)
I told him not to knock his shoes down, this is the let's see you try and stop me look.
Now he thinks if he hides his face I can't see him do it.
Throwing dad's paycheck and anything else he can find on the floor
Sharing the seahorse with Joe
So happy to have him (Russell was changing the batteries) Jackson flipped when Russell took it from his crib, he crawled after him crying, so we gave him the shell to play with while he changed the batteries.
He can't understand why Joe won't play with it.
Trying to make the music start
He left Joe to guard it...Joe's excited, can't you tell?

Day 197- We are so lucky

We're so lucky to have such great friends willing to take care of Jackson. At his age, I'm not quite ready for the leave with a teenager and go on a date. I love that I have people that I know are going to spoil him rotten and I never have to worry about him. Patricia, Candy and Allison gave Jackson such an awesome afternoon. Russell and I even got to get things done at my school on top of seeing Harry Potter. It was a great day!
His toy box is one of his favorite ways to play with his toys
Peek a boo mama!
Trying to pick the ball up with his mouth like the dogs do
Look at this cool toy Mom!
Having a conversation with Elmo
Standing one handed! He's getting brave
"walking" around the table (looking ghetto with one pant leg rolled up)
Yummy mac n cheese
Jackson's new trick- gagging himself
Sleepy boy, sound asleep by 8:00
