Day 345- Happy 16 months

Jackson managed to add to his black eye today. While he was running in the kitchen with Mr. Monkey, he slipped and hit the top part of the same eye. The poor kid is a wreck. Fortunately, it didn't effect his mood and though he was a sleepy kid (he took a 2 1/2 hour nap), he had a lot of fun today. We finished hanging ornaments on the tree and learned that we will have a few, soft, non-breakable ornaments high up on the tree for the next few years :) Jackson loved to pull them off and then throw them on the tree. He was quite distraught when they wouldn't just magically stay on the tree.
This was our last calm weekend until after the New Year so I'm going to head to bed early and try to enjoy the peace and quiet while I can.

Excited for blackberries at breakfast
Peek-a-boo
One way to get Joe Dog to move
Showing off his double black eye
Worn out after a long day of playing
Cheesing in the basket
Picking out ornaments
He liked to throw the ball shaped ornaments
Put this here mama
Getting another ornament from Dad
Enjoying the beer ornament from Tonka
Pulling Santa off of the tree
Ready to throw him back on
